I’m really fond of Magnolia trees; they’re such an ancient species of flowering trees that I admire for being beautiful and deceptively hardy! And fun fact not only are they fragrant, but their blossoms are edible and taste like fresh ginger.
I like birch trees for their bark, maple trees for their red and yellow leaves, oaks for the habitat they provide, and pine trees for their scent.
Jackpine is a type of tree I’ve been interested in. While it’s mostly treated as junk lumber, it has beautiful fiery red streaks in the grain and can even have a blue tint sometimes. I even have some furniture made of this wood!
Pine trees, which can grow in the winter, are my favorite trees. In my hometown, the soft rime creates a pretty picturesque scene. I wish I could be strong and upright like a pine tree, continuing to grow in spite of obstacles.
The kind of tree I like is the willow because the branches and leaves look soft and casual while the root is rigid and solid.
I like fir and pine trees because they remind me of the holidays and spending time with family.
I really like Oak trees because they tend to be very strong and sturdy and exist all across the world. I also love finding acorns by oak trees which makes me like them more.
My favorite trees are pine trees because they remind me of being up north at the cabin with my family.
I like the Willow because the willow is very common in my hometown in the southern part of China. In mandarin, the sound for Willow is similar to the sound of the character “stay”, so it is always present when people are bidding farewell to their close friends.
I like pines because of the sound the wind makes when it goes through the needles, and the association they have with Christmas.
I like willow trees because I think they are really pretty and make spaces just look more magical and special. Also, I like the song Willow by Taylor Swift.
